The county's biggest concentration of light industry, most of it on and around the Withybush estate, and almost all of it holding something DSEAR covers.
We are fifteen minutes away. No travel charge anywhere in Pembrokeshire, and we can usually get to an urgent one quickly.
Withybush is where we do most of our inland work. Vehicle body shops and paint booths, joinery with dust extraction, print, trade counters holding solvents and adhesives, and distribution units with forklift charging bays. Very few of these sites think of themselves as hazardous, which is precisely why the assessments turn things up. The paint booth and the charging bay are the two that come up most often, and neither is usually on anybody's radar until an insurer or a client asks.
Most sites needing DSEAR also need a fire risk assessment, and since 1 October 2023 that one must be recorded in full whatever the headcount. We do both, in one visit, written to agree with each other.
Substances, release sources, ignition sources, existing controls and the residual risk, written so an inspector and your own staff can both follow it.
